Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VaultMind (the “Service”), a product of The Means of Production (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at info@themeansofproduction.press if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. The Service

VaultMind ingests documents, conversations, and other source material you provide and transforms them into a structured, semantically organized archive (your “Vault”). Features include AI-powered summaries, tagging, OCR, the Token Refinery, the Grimoire prompt library, and export tooling for use with third-party LLM clients.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We will give reasonable advance notice for material changes that affect paid plans.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that you do not have the right to process.
  • Use the Service to generate or distribute malware, spam, harassment, or CSAM.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our proprietary models, prompts, or infrastructure.
  • Abuse, overload, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan quotas, or security controls.
  • Resell the Service or wrap it as your own without a written agreement.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

4. Subscriptions, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via our payment processor (Stripe). By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then.

Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We do not prorate partial months. If we materially reduce a feature you paid for, contact info@themeansofproduction.press and we’ll make it right.

5. Your content & intellectual property

You own what you upload. You retain all rights to the documents, prompts, and other material you put into your Vault.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and transform your content solely to operate and improve the Service for you (for example, running OCR, generating summaries, computing token counts, and producing exports you request). We do not use your private content to train foundation models.

VaultMind, the VaultMind logo, the underlying software, and all derivative artifacts of the Service (excluding your content) are owned by The Means of Production and protected by applicable IP laws.

6. AI-generated output

The Service uses large language models to produce summaries, tags, and structured outputs. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or biased. Treat it as a starting point, not a source of truth. You are responsible for reviewing AI output before relying on it, sharing it, or making decisions based on it.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers including Lovable Cloud (hosting, database, authentication), Stripe (payments), and AI model providers reached through our AI gateway. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers’ terms, and they may impose their own restrictions on content.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; we will give you a reasonable window to export your Vault unless we’re prohibited by law from doing so.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Means of Production and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US$100.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Means of Production from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or an in-product notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
